Panama Hat Care Guidelines
Follow the instructions below to ensure the longevity of your Panama hat
- Do not get your hat wet. Should it get wet, let it dry in an airy space and reshape it once dried.
- When not in use, store your hat inside the hatbox in a dry, ventilated and cool place.
- Do not leave your hat in an overheated car, as the straw may become brittle and crack. The hat needs a good balance of humidity and dryness.
Some designs can be rolled, such as the Vizor, Romy and Colonial. When unrolled and worn again, they will readjust quickly to your head shape. The other designs when rolled will lose their original shape, therefor we do not recommend rolling them.
For short trips, leave the hat on top of your head. For longer trips, use the hat box or place the hat in a hard-shell suitcase upside down surrounded by soft clothing only, strictly no denim.
