In the magical world of Panama hats, this one is the king of kings. It is an exquisite and rare hat painstakingly woven by Ecuadorian artisans of the coastal villages around Montecristi in the Manabí province. These craftsmen have talent and experience which is becoming more and more scarce.
It is a grade 25 weave finished with a 6.5 cm brim.
For aficionados, there is a range of higher grades available upon request.
